In order to produce these arrangements I collected a dozen or so books of Irish melodies and took myself (and my guitar) off to have a brief holiday in Wales - which doesnt make sense really!
All the music is based on traditional melodies with the exception of Fields of Athenry (P. St. John), Sheebeg and Sheemore (T. O'Carolan) and From Clare to Here (R. McTell).
Other titles are: A Good Roarin Fire; The Harp that Once; Will You Go Lassie, Go; Come Back Paddy Reilly; The Foggy Dew; Terences Farewell; Come My Love; Crooghan aGrove; The Cliffs of Dooneen; Crooghan aVenee; Dobbins Flowery Vale; The Lovely Suite Banks of the Suir; The Spanish Lady; The Lowlands Low; The Last Rose of Summer; The Downfall of Paris.
